How it works
- Choose a tool. Pick what the form asks for: a size limit in KB, exact dimensions, a passport or ID size, a format, or a signature.
- Add your photos. Select up to five photos. They stay on your device — nothing is uploaded.
- Set the requirements. Enter the target size, dimensions or format. Presets cover the most common cases.
- Save and upload. Each result is checked against your requirements. Save or share it and upload it to your form.

Frequently asked questions
Is PhotoSize free?
Yes. All tools are free to use. The site is supported by a small number of non-intrusive ads on content pages.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Every photo is processed inside your browser on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, which keeps identity photos and signatures private.
Can I compress a photo to exactly 20 KB?
PhotoSize finds the best-quality result at or below your target, usually within a few percent of it. If the target cannot be reached at the dimensions you need, it tells you and suggests what to change.
How many photos can I process at once?
Up to five photos at a time with the same settings. Each photo gets its own result, and you can save or share them all together.
Does it work on iPhone, Android and computers?
Yes. PhotoSize works in modern browsers on phones, tablets and computers, and it keeps working offline once it has loaded. You can also install it like an app.
Are the passport presets official?
No. They are common sizes to save time. Requirements vary by country and change over time, so always confirm the exact rules with the issuing authority.
